Self Help: How to be Happy 4/6

Initial gut reaction 1-Not at all   10-Yes, definitely
Did I convey presenter’s overall message? 9
Did I deliver the interpretation with confidence? 9
What is the presenter’s purpose?: He wants to share his philosophy for being happy despite having Progeria.
What is the presenter’s attitude toward the topic?: (emotive, excited, lethargic…) He has accepted his fate related to his disease and he is excited to share his philosophy with the audience.
What was the presenter’s language quality? (clear, redundant, evasive, tangents…) He spoke clearly and had planned out his speech.
How was the audio/visual quality? The audio and visual quality was good.
How did the presenter structure the presentation? He planned his speech and used videos to enhance his speech.
Did the source text use any culturally bound information or topic-specific jargon?  There was not a lot of culturally bound information-maybe the marching band.  There was topic-specific jargon related to the disease, Progeria and its effects on the body.
Brief notes: I felt pretty confident throughout this interpretation.  I tried to incorporate more expansion skills and use space more effectively.  I felt I had some really good use of ASL grammar by incorporating conditional phrases and rhetorical questions.
